The kind and beautiful saviour

The slow to anger, Prince of peace

Him who was sent to save and He did so without a grudge

The One who has referred to me as His own

The One who gave me an identity more beautiful that one I was born into

The One who brought light into every day of my life before I even breathed my first

The One who carried me in His heart while He was one the cross and I was crucified with Him

He died with me

He rose with me and now lives in me til eternity as holy and blameless before the KING OF GLORY

The place of rest for my spirit

The safe haven for all who love Him!

Yet not by my goodness or ability and intelligence

But His Spirit in me works to do and to will
